Within my watercolour abstract art, I find inspiration in the delicate interplay between human connection and the graceful choreography of bird murmurations. With each brushstroke and layering of colour I attempt to capture the essence of these phenomena.  I find that blending colours provides a powerful metaphor for the intricate interplay of human interaction. Through the subtle shifts and contrasts in colour, how they interact with each other and the paper, I aim to capture the complexity of connection and disconnection, depicting the richness of emotions and experiences that define our interactions with one another. In a way community is much like how birds come together and move as one, together in synchronised flight known as murmuration.

 

I seek to convey the sense of unity and shared experiences that define our connections with one another. Through layers of colour my artwork becomes a reflection of the beauty found in collective movements, inviting viewers to join me in exploring the profound impact of community and togetherness.
